Where to drink a good cup of coffee in Paris? Well here, at KB CaféShop in SoPi! Run by French owner Nicolas Piégay who learnt the craft of coffee in Australia. Hence also the name: KB stands for KookaBurra, a bird native to Australia. Part of the trendy Parisian neo coffee scene, KB is now one of the few places to get a good café latte or espresso macchiato.
KB is located at the corner of the bustling Rue the Martyrs. Always busy, yet not too busy to find a good spot, either inside or outside. From locals to expats to tourists, KB has a balanced mix in its crowd. The coffee is excellent, supplied by the very well-known Parisian roasting company Café Lomi. The food also deserves a notion: all home made! The food offering includes cakes, muffins, sandwiches, scones, quiches and salads amongst others.
Starting here with a proper cup of coffee and then head onwards to shop along the Rue des Martyrs is an idea. After some shopping and wandering around, you could grab lunch at either Buvette or Hôtel Amour, which are both around the corner.
