Paris Plages

ParisPlagesHeader

Finally summertime! But what to do when it is too hot to shop or to visit a museum? To the beach! Oui, Paris has its own beach along the Seine called Paris Plages. Between 19 July and 17 August, the Seine’s right bank between the Louvre and Pont de Sully is being transformed from a high-traffic road into a sandy pedestrian area with pleasure for everyone: You can just lay at the beach, grab a deckchair, hydrate at a refreshment area, rollerblade, buy an ice-cream or enjoy a free glass of Parisian grand-cru. Enjoy, but watch out for guys in small and tight Speedo’s 🙂
